OnlyTogether introduction

The world is different. Friends and family are apart, gatherings are on hold, travel has been halted. We all want to get back to the things and the people we love. But if different countries move at different speeds then there is no guarantee that things will ever be the same.

We must decide that it’s possible to end the pandemic quickly by supporting the United Nations’ call for vaccines to be treated as a public good, accessible and available to everyone, everywhere. We must vaccinate according to need, starting with healthcare workers, so more lives can be saved and we can reopen as quickly as possible.

Scaling up manufacture and production, increasing funding and sharing excess doses could mean ending the pandemic faster for everyone. Our governments need to work together so that no one is left behind. Sharing information and resources has always been our best hope for a brighter tomorrow, so let’s do it now and end the pandemic together.

WE WILL...AGAIN HIGHLIGHTS

We’re celebrating the things we miss as part of the United Nations drive for fair access to COVID-19 vaccines. Use #OnlyTogether and tag @unitednations on Instagram and @UN on Twitter and share a picture or video or anything else that represents the one thing you can’t wait to do again.
